Hi there! Welcome to The Big Picture!

We're a tiny, imagination-driven organisation working at the nexus of systems, strategy, and storytelling.

What is it that we do?

We partner with organisations, institutions, brands and clusters of systems to reimagine new systems and pathways of what the future can be, particularly within the evolving landscape of regenerative business. We support our partners in unlearning and unravelling old systems that have driven the polycrisis.

Our work is interdisciplinary, intersectional, intentional, and imaginative, blending critical thinking with bold creativity, offering bespoke services that are rooted in the principle of care.

As a Nordic-based impact agency with a team from the Global Majority, we bring a distinct, world-expanding perspective, where we weave our lived experience and deep insight into each of our impact works.

What can we do together?

We are in the business of imagination.

We’re dreamers and strategists, guides and storytellers, dedicated to challenging the systems driving the polycrisis by unravelling it at its roots.

We believe that meaningful change begins with curiosity. If you are:

  • Curious about how you can reimagine the way forward with your impact work

  • Conscious of the exploitative and extractive work, and want to intentionally disrupt

  • Seeking fresh perspectives to break through complex challenges in your impact work

  • Questioning traditional methods and looking for transformative approaches to create impact

  • Want to see alignment between your ambition and the transformative shifts needed to address systemic challenges

… we’d love to work with you!

We offer a blend of bespoke, imagination-fueled services that are rooted in the principle of care.

    Systems & Strategy Lab

At our Systems & Strategy Lab, we weave imagination and systems thinking to partner with you in reimagining regenerative pathways and unravelling outdated systems, while addressing the interconnected challenges of our polycrisis through interdisciplinary, intersectional, and intentional collaboration.

    Storytelling Studio

Our Storytelling Studio is where imagination and narrative intertwine to weave new possibilities. We partner with you to redefine stories through powerful visual storytelling and transformative communication. We challenge old narratives and bring our perspectives and lived experiences into every story we co-create.

Our Interventions & Provocations

We are proud of our work and at the same time remain critical of the systems we operate in and what our role is within the system.

We spearheaded a critical public discourse on decolonising sustainability called The Tipping Point to Decolonise Sustainability.

We initiated The Pluriversal Playhouse: an intervention into futures, pluriverse, imagination and speculative storytelling
